Edward D. McLiney, Chairman of McLiney And Company, began as an investment banker in 1984. He currently runs the firm’s public finance department. He and his brother, Joey, are the lead managers for the majority of the firm’s negotiated underwritings. Mr. McLiney has devoted his entire career to the assistance of rural communities with the single focus of providing economic services to communities that would otherwise go without. The challenge of providing financing and financial techniques to communities with limited resources has led Mr. McLiney to innovate outside of the norms of municipal finance.

When Eddie is not structuring municipal deals, you can find him working cattle on the family ranch in Bourbon and Linn County, Kansas.

Eddie has been married to his high school sweetheart for over 30 years. They have one married daughter and two grandchildren who live in Kansas City.

He is registered with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority as a Municipal Advisor Representative (Series 50), Municipal Securities Principal (Series 53), General Securities Principal (Series 24), General Securities Representative (Series 7) and Uniform Securities Agent State Law (Series 63).
